
ProWein 2023: Assovini Sicilia promotes IGP and DOP

Twenty-seven wine producers as well as Assovini Sicilia’s associates will represent the extraordinary Sicilian wine variety at ProWein, the most important fair about wines, spirits and beverages based in Düsseldorf. From 19th to 21st March, the thirteen pavilions at the Messe Düsseldorf exhibition center will host six thousand exhibitors and four hundred wine growers. A total of sixty countries are represented. Italy leads with 1750 exhibitors.
The twenty-seven Assovini Sicilia’s members and wine companies will be located as it follows: nineteen are part of the ATI “Tifeo” with Musita winery leading, while the remaining eight will also be located within the “Sicily area”. Together, they will represent the island, its DOC and IGP at the Hall 17 managed by IRVO (Regional Institute of Sicilian Wines and Oils). Several companies belonging to the Sicilian wine association will be located in other areas and pavilions.
Over its almost thirty-years, ProWein has confirmed its leading role through a winning formula: a world fair that focuses exclusively to specialized audience and professionals in the wine and spirits field-comments Laurent Bernard de la Gatinais, president of Assovini Sicilia.
